Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage the entire application lifecycle, including design, strategy, and execution for HR Information Systems in Switzerland. You are responsible for ensuring that our local HR systems work reliably, serve their users, and remain fit for purpose for supported HR business processes to deliver value to the organization. You will also showcase your skills by ensuring application security and compliance, in line with external and internal regulations.
The work model for the role is hybrid. #LI-Hybrid
This role is contributing to the HR Operations function in Baden, Switzerland. Main stakeholders are HR Operations teams, Payroll, HR Experience teams, HR Business Partners, IT, Finance, as well as external system providers.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Team Leadership & Service Delivery: Leading and developing a small HRIS team, providing coaching, guidance, and performance management to ensure high-quality HRIS services.
HR Application & Data Management: Overseeing SAP HCM (ECC) configuration, organizational structures, payroll tables, personnel administration, and managing data exchange/interfaces with Workday, local ERP systems, and external providers.
Governance & Compliance: Managing user access/security, segregation of duties, risk controls, and ensuring compliance with IT General Controls, audits, and regulatory requirements.
Projects & Transformation: Managing HR reporting/analytics, leading HR technology projects (M&A, modernization, payroll implementations), and playing a key role in the strategic payroll transformation and migration to a new vendor solution.
Qualifications for the role
You have 10 years of experience in HR Information Systems management
Preferably with extensive experience in application management of SAP HCM (ECC) modules including Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), and Payroll (PY)
Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical teams and ability to develop talent, combined with effective stakeholder management skills across HR, IT, and business functions
Skilled in application ownership and lifecycle management, including system configuration, interface management, data integration, and change management processes
Advanced knowledge of and experience in HR data governance, user access management, IT controls (ITGC), and audit compliance requirements
Experience in managing complex HR projects such as M&A integrations, system modernization, and payroll implementations
University degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent professional experience in HR technology
Fluent in German and English
