Your Role: Own the Challenge


As a Payroll Specialist, you will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with company policies and legal regulations. You will maintain precise payroll records, update employee information, and safeguard confidentiality at all times. This role also involves calculating severance payments in accordance with labor laws, managing IMSS-related transactions (registrations, terminations, salary adjustments), and identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency within the payroll function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and process payroll cycles in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
  • Calculate severance payments accurately and in accordance with labor laws.
  • Prepare and submit employee movements (registrations, terminations, modifications) to IMSS on time.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and tax regulations.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records for auditing purposes.
  • Address and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and benefits.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to reconcile discrepancies and improve processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll administration (including severance calculations and IMSS transactions for a workforce of 1,500+ employees).
  • Experience in multinational companies.
  • In-depth understanding of local labor laws, IMSS regulations, and tax compliance.
  • Experience with Revolution Payroll System is highly desirable.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and excellent communication.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
