This Position reports to:
Division General Counsel Machine Automation & Corporate Counsel Austria
Your Role and Responsibilities
You will ensure support to the assigned Automation local businesses in Italy and support specific assigned global projects

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:
Developing close working relationships with the internal customers and stakeholders including the management
Gaining experience in multiple jurisdictions and providing cross-border legal support across the Automation Businesses in Italy
Participating in and giving assistance in contracts, agreements, consortium and JV
Reviewing bids, negotiations, contracts, policies and other legal documents from vendors, customers and other third parties ensuring compliance with policies
Supporting business in managing contractual claims
Participating in and promoting activities to ensure employees conduct business in compliance with the directives and the local laws
Implementing the compliance/integrity Group program
Providing training to employees on contractual and integrity matters
Raising and defending litigation matters brought against the company using relevant external experts
Ensuring that all external legal advice is provided in a cost-effective way
Supporting the Division Lead Counsel on specific assigned projects
Qualifications for the Role
Bachelor of Law degree from a reputable university in Italy
Admission to the Italian Bar
5 years’ working experience in a major corporation and/or a leading law firm
Demonstrable experience dealing with civil law issues
Fluency in English
Self-motivated and able to progressively work with autonomy
Team-spirited, solution-oriented and with pragmatic approach
Good interpersonal and communication skills and being able to work effectively with business stakeholders and clients
