This Position reports to:

Project Operations Manager


Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of customer orders, from acquisition to final delivery. You will act as the main point of contact for the customer and coordinate internal teams across multiple departments, ensuring compliance with timelines, costs, and quality standards.

This role is contributing to the Motion Traction Division based in Genoa

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Manage the full project lifecycle, from order acquisition to delivery serving as the primary interface for the customer.

  • Collaborate with the internal functions and interact with production, purchasing, quality, and safety and other departments.

  • Handle development orders within our factory and manage complex projects involving both in-house components and parts supplied by other factories.

  • Plan and monitor multiple projects simultaneously, with an average duration of about one year (from prototype to series production).

  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications and industry standards for railway, mining, and track sectors.

  • Manage project risks and opportunities effectively.

  • Drive formal project acceptance, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgment.

Qualifications for the role

  • At least 2 years in Project Management.

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., scheduling, risk management, resource planning).

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), preferred experience with MS Project for scheduling and planning, familiarity with SAP

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to act as the main interface with customers and internal teams.

  • Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to risk and opportunity management.

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Management..)

  • Fluent English and Italian
