Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide financial expertise to the organization. Each day, you will compile and analyze metrics, identify trends and problems, and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions to improve financial performance of a specific Marketing, Sales, or Service organization, as applicable.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Analyzing business performance versus budget and forecast and proposing improvement actions; and performing benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar sites within ABB (using Power BI, Excel, or similar tools).

• Preparing financial modeling for various hypotheses and assessing impact to the service organization with special focus on service profitability, service costing/hourly rates, and over/under-absorption analysis.

• Validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reporting by performing reconciliations and review of exceptions.

• Providing information to the management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.

• Working in projects for improving Management Information System, such as Power BI for daily orders, overdue...

Qualifications for the Role

• Degree in Economics, Finance or relatives. A related Master will be valuable.

• Previous experience not required

• Knowledge: Excel, Power Point, Power BI or similar tools

• Good level of English; better if Spanish, but not mandatory

• Mindset to innovate, take ownership, drive improvement: continuous improvement mindset
