Your role and responsibilities:

As an HR Business Partner – Project Management (HRBP – PM), you will lead and oversee HR-related projects that impact our Canadian workforce. This role combines strategic partnership with hands-on project management to drive initiatives that align with business objectives and organizational goals.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Strategic HR Leadership - Partner with the HR Country Leader, HRBPs, and the broader HR team to deliver strategic HR support aligned with business priorities. Act as a trusted advisor, fostering strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Project Planning & Execution - Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets. Define clear objectives and milestones to ensure successful delivery. Lead regular progress meetings, address challenges, and incorporate feedback.
  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement - Monitor project performance against established metrics. Prepare and present updates to stakeholders, highlight successes, and identify opportunities for improvement. Drive process enhancements that boost efficiency, effectiveness, and employee engagement.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions Support - Contribute to M&A activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and support smooth integration processes.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 15 years of HR experience within a global organization.
  • Proven project management expertise in HR or related business functions.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and influence at all organizational levels, with a track record of presenting to senior leaders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with Workday is preferred.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
