Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide expertise in accounting, financial statement preparation, and audit processes. You will support financial statements preparation, participate in audit processes for less complex entities, collaborate with relevant stakeholders and support more experienced Colleagues with more complex tasks. Additionally, you will contribute to identifying statutory adjustments and reconciliation bridges to statutory financial statements.

Location: Poland or India

This role is contributing to the Statutory Compliance Manager in Łódź.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Playing an active role in financial statements preparation for less complex entities

• Driving and supporting audit processes for less complex entities by scheduling, conducting planning and status meetings; coordination of statutory audit process

• Collaborating with all stakeholders involved in audit and financial statements preparation processes in respect of issues identified

• Identifying the statutory adjustments and preparing a bridge to statutory financial statements

• Supporting with statutory accounts reconciliation

• Supporting more experienced Colleagues in a team with audits of more complex entities.

Qualifications for the role

• At least 2 years of experience in audit department or 3-4 years’ experience in finance / accounting function ( ideally in GL, R2R or Statutory department, ideally in a large international industrial group)

• Analytical skills, fluent knowledge of excel

• Energetic and open-minded personality

• Knowledge of SAP system would be an asset

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or Economics

• You are at ease communicating in English

• Good accounting background and understanding of audit procedures will be an asset
