This Position reports to:
Engineering Manager- Oil, Gas & Chemical (부장)
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.
The work model for the role is: Onsite # LI-Onsite
This role contributes to the Process Automation Division. Main stakeholders include project managers, commissioning teams, and client engineering representatives.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.
Coaching the project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations.
Leading, supervising, and coordinating teams (less than 10 members) in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects.
Applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.
Qualifications for the role
Over 2 years of experience in plant, working as project engineer with DCS
Strong knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, engineering(P&ID convert to DCS graphic, SAMA convert to DCS Logic & Loop), commissioning, and trouble-shooting of DCS, HMI, EWS
Experience of sub-vendor management, documentation review (vendor prints), and delivering customer training.
Solid IT knowledge, including server/workstation hardware, operating systems, domain servers, and networking.
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently to domestic sites (over 50%), occasional international travel.
