This Position reports to:
Senior Finance Manager
Working with Electrification, you will have full P&L finance and controlling ownership for the ELSE (Electrification Service) units in UK & Ireland including overseeing integration and performance of acquisitions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a business partner to the Local Division Managers for the respective units to optimize the financial performance within the Electrification Service Division. Each day, you will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending the most appropriate business solutions.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Service Division in United Kingdom and Ireland. Main stakeholders are the Local Division Managers for the respective units.

Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. You will be mainly accountable for:
Partner directly with the Local Division Managers to drive strategy and execution to deliver on profitable growth targets.
Direct responsibility for the accuracy of all financial books, records and reports for the ELSE Division in the countries under scope. Drive compliance and integrity throughout the Countries in support of the LDMs.
Support the APP process for the Division.
Partner with the ELSE Local Division Managers to operationalize financial targets and challenges.
Direct ownership for developing and executing the financial forecasting process for the ELSE Division supporting the LDMs to prepare an accurate and timely forecast.
Provide leadership for the team(s) coming on board as part of the acquisition.
Provide M&A support – identifying targets, participation in due diligence and subsequent integration into ABB – including leadership of finance resources.
Support ensuring a safe working environment, continuous HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) improvement processes, integrity performance and Group standards.

Qualifications for the role
A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or accounting is required with demonstrated performance and results; in the areas of business, finance, operational controlling and/or accounting
Strong costing knowledge and understanding of service accounting and revenue recognition
Possess an enhanced knowledge of SAP, excel and PowerBI tools
