This Position reports to:

Tax Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute back office and other administrative activities within the Tax function, in line with defined strategies, policies, and procedures. Each day, you will provide support for various projects and initiatives, including project risk reviews, contract structures, etc. You will also showcase your expertise by managing and preparing supporting documentation (e.g., tax transfer pricing documentation, support for tax returns, etc.).

The work model for the role is: LI- Hybrid, LI- Onsite

This role is contributing to the ABB Business Services in Bangalore. You will be mainly accountable for:

Willing to work in night shift (12 PM to 9 PM or 5:30 PM to 2:00 AM) – Cab and food is provided as per policy.

Job Description-

• Ready to work in US & Canada direct tax activities or other any other activities assigned as per company’s requirement.
• Working knowledge in direct tax activities, US & Canada direct tax knowledge will be added advantage.
• He/she would be responsible for US & Canada activities like - GL data extraction from SAP/CFIN to work on WHT and other tax activities like estimated tax etc. Preparation of Form 8802 etc.
• Working on WHT returns
• Tax GL Mapping, reconciliations and clearing.
• Work closely with other team members to understand the new processes and Standardization of Tax Operation Processes, Prepare SoP/WI.
• Quarterly reporting of tax numbers on Longview tool (Group reporting). Any other activities assigned from time to time

Qualifications for the role

• Education: B. Com or M. Com
• 2-3 Years of working experience in Direct Taxes
• Working experience in SAP/CFIN /MS Office will be added advantage.
• Should have good communication, listening and execution skills.
