This Position reports to:
Product Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to set up and execute tests for different products in accordance with standard testing methodologies and requirements. Each day, you will perform your tasks or activities using skills and techniques as well as a practical understanding of concepts used in the field of technology. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring proper documentation of the test results.
The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Motion Drive Products division in Italy.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Assembly/disassembly of drives in electrical panels using the appropriate DPI.
Drive parameterization.
Assembly and preparation of the motor test bench, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation connections.
Test start-up and execution.
Preparation of test reports with evaluation of the results.
Collection of documentation related to commissioning tests.
Independent management of various types of measurements (e.g., acoustic, vibration, etc.).
Qualifications for the role
Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Automation..)
Good knowledge of English and Italian
Skills in electrical measurements (voltage, current, temperature, resistance, efficiency, insulation, ohmic resistance, capacitance, polarization index, etc.).
Experience with electrical hazards.
Ability to understand and interpret mechanical drawings.
Ability to draft, read, and interpret electrical schematics.
Good manual skills, operational flexibility, and the ability to work safely using the required PPE.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
Basic knowledge of 2D CAD or preferably 3D CAD
Knowledge of the LabVIEW programming language
Ability to work in a team and to carry out assigned activities
