We are now looking for a new Global Early Talent to join our program starting April 2026 in Vaasa Finland. As a participant of the Global Early Talent Program in Finance, you will get hands-on responsibility from the start. For this position, you will be working within the Local Finance team in Vaasa, Finland.

The program is made up of three assignments in different Local Finance Business Partner, Global trainee and Local Controller roles.

The program parts will be divided in the following way:

1. One 9-month assignment in your home country as an introduction to the business.

2. One 6-month assignment abroad to get an overview of ABB’s operations in a different environment or role and work on an exciting assignment with a different team, expanding your network.

3. One 9-month assignment back in your home country or home business, where you will deepen your knowledge of the business and of your function.

During the program we will take the participants on a leadership competency development journey. The last rotation will also be the time where the participants start to look for their final position, to be started after the end of the program. Depending on the assignment role you will be in, most common responsibility will include tasks within Operational (Accounting and Reporting) and Strategic Controlling and Finance activities.

You will mainly work in the following areas of our organization:

• Local Finance, Accounting and Reporting Operations
• Finance and Planning Analysis
• Local Business Controlling

Qualifications for the Role

• A recent BSc. or MSc graduate or soon to graduate from a field such as Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similar
• Previous experience from working in a finance function
• Fluency in Finnish and English, other languages are a plus
• Understanding and ability to interpret income statements and balance sheets
• Good communication skills both verbally and in writing
• Curious and resilient personality with attention to details and accuracy
• Understanding of Finnish tax legislation is seen as a benefit
• You think globally, enjoy working in teams and are open to new ideas
