As ABB Robotics transition from ABB into Softbank Group, we are seeking a motivated Pricing Data Analyst to join our analytics team within the Robotics Division. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with pricing analytics, SQL/ Python, Power BI, along with exposure to statistical modelling and elasticity modelling. This role is perfect for someone eager to grow in the BI domain while contributing to digital transformation and data-driven decision-making.

In this role you will be contributing for Robot & Discrete Automation in Bangalore, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Apply advanced analytical skills to interpret large datasets, identify trends, and trans-late insights into actionable pricing recommendations.
- Partner with global pricing and sales managers, as well as wider cross‑functional stakeholders, to translate commercial and operational requirements into scalable, high‑impact BI solutions.
- Conduct detailed pricing analysis to uncover performance drivers, identify optimisation opportunities, and support strategic pricing decisions.
- Execute, and analyse pricing experiments (e.g., A/B tests) to evaluate the impact of price changes and commercial strategies.
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, including understanding of revenue models, margin structures, price elasticity, and competitive positioning.
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable Snowflake data models aligned with business needs and best‑practice data architecture.
- Integrate Snowflake with Power BI following best practices for connectivity, authentication, modelling, and automated data refresh.
- Produce clear, compelling dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support da-ta‑driven decision‑making across the division.
- Present insights, recommendations, and model outputs to business leaders and cross‑functional teams in a clear, concise, and commercially relevant manner.
- Ensure data accuracy and governance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of pricing processes, tools, and analytical capabilities across the organization.
Qualifications for the role
- 4+ years’ experience in pricing or commercial analytics within a data‑driven environment.
- Any degree should be ok but more preferrable with mathematics, economics finance/business background.
- Strong pricing analysis capability, with the ability to identify trends, performance drivers, and optimization opportunities.
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex formulae, pivot tables, Power Query, data modelling, automation, and scenario analysis.
- Advanced Power BI skills, covering data modelling, DAX, performance tuning, govern-ance, and best‑practice dashboard design.
- Understanding in building and maintaining pricing models that forecast revenue, margin impact, and demand scenarios.
- Solid statistical knowledge, including regression, forecasting, and elasticity model-ling.
- Proficiency in Python or SQL with the ability to build analytical scripts and automate workflows.
- Proven stakeholder engagement, with the ability to capture requirements and deliver impactful, commercially relevant analytical solutions.
- Understanding of customer segmentation and behavioural pricing principles.
- Strong storytelling that turns complex analysis into clear insights.
- Practical problem‑solving with a knack for putting the jigsaw together.
