Your Role: Own the Challenge
As an Associate Site Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the installation and commissioning of automation, control, and electrical systems on site within Energy Industries projects.
Lead and coordinate the installation and commissioning of PLC systems, DCS/SCADA systems, operator interfaces, as well as low- and medium-voltage equipment, protection and excitation systems for power generation, oil & gas, and process industry facilities
Independently supervise and verify manufacturing, installation activities, and subcontractor performance on site, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, technical requirements, and applicable quality, safety, and regulatory standards
Provide technical consulting to customers and deliver expert technical recommendations throughout various project phases to ensure successful project execution within defined schedules, budgets, and quality requirements
Assume technical, commercial, and organizational responsibility on site, including the handling of technical claims, enforcement of safety standards, and a high willingness to travel (approx. 90%)
What it takes to Run what runs the world
Completed education in electrical engineering or a related discipline, combined with at least 10 years of relevant professional experience
Proven experience in site management, construction supervision, and on-site coordination of technical activities
Solid general IT skills; proficiency in MS Office required, with knowledge of AutoCAD, EPLAN P8, and SAP considered an advantage
Strong commitment to safe working practices and strict adherence to all applicable occupational health and safety regulations
High level of self-motivation, openness to new topics, and a continuous willingness to acquire and apply new technologies
Team-oriented and solution-driven working style, complemented by very good written and verbal communication skills
Very good command of German (C1) and good command of English (B1), both written and spoken
High willingness to travel within Austria (approx. 90%)

In accordance with the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in Austria, the minimum salary for this position is € 60.000 gross per year (May 2025). There is a clear willingness to offer compensation above the collectively agreed minimum salary, depending on qualifications and experience.
