Your role and responsibilities
You will provide comprehensive support across three key areas: managing daily office operations and documentation, executing procurement activities including purchase order creation and vendor coordination in SAP/Ariba systems, and coordinating logistics operations from shipment tracking to customs documentation. Your role ensures compliance with ABB's procurement policies, timely delivery of goods and services, and accurate record-keeping. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to optimize processes, resolve issues, and maintain operational excellence.
The work model for the role is: Onsite, #LI-Onsite
This role is contributing to the Electrification Service (ELSE) division in Thailand. Main stakeholders are local and regional procurement teams, suppliers, logistics service providers, warehouse operations, service operation, sales, and finance departments.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Office Administration & Documentation: Managing daily office operations, maintaining organized filing systems, coordinating correspondence, scheduling meetings, and ensuring accurate record-keeping of all procurement and logistics activities
Purchase Order Management: Creating and processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders in SAP/Ariba systems with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring compliance with ABB's "No PO No Pay" principle and procurement policies
Vendor Coordination & Management: Serving as the primary contact for vendors regarding order confirmations, delivery schedules, performance tracking, and supporting vendor onboarding and qualification processes
Logistics & Shipment Coordination: Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments with freight forwarders, tracking deliveries, expediting critical orders, and managing customs documentation to ensure on-time receipt of goods

Qualifications for the role
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., procurement, logistics) are an advantage
2-4 years of experience in office administration, procurement, or logistics support roles
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and procurement tools
Knowledge of procurement compliance and vendor management
Experience in a multinational or manufacturing environment is preferred
