This Position reports to:
Operations Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
The work model for the role is: onsite #LI-Onsite
This role is contributing to the Motion Drives Business in Jüri.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Collaborating with teams to maintain and enhance ABB’s safe work environment
- Analyzing waste flow and identifying areas for optimization
- Supporting improvement initiatives by contributing valuable suggestions
- Engaging with internal stakeholders to promote HSE awareness and commitment
- Actively seeking feedback and guidance from managers and team members to enhance performance and skills

Qualifications for the role
- You are currently studying Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) or a related field (e.g. Civil Security, Environmental Health, Fire Safety)
- You demonstrate a strong motivation to make a positive impact on workplace health, safety, and environmental performance, with personal learning goals aligned to continuous HSE improvement
- You have an interest in or initial exposure to environmental sustainability initiatives and are eager to contribute to practical improvement actions
- You have a keen eye for detail and a structured, systematic approach to tasks and problem-solving
- You are comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- You are able to communicate effectively in English, Estonian, and Russian.
- You are open to learning, proactive in seeking feedback, and motivated to develop your skills within the HSE field.
