The KAM reports to the NAM MT (EPD). He/She works in tandem with other functions viz. Sales, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, Marketing & Brands. He/she would assist the NAM of MT in handling the account portfolio. He/she can also independently manage some smaller chains or alternatively verticals in big chains.
Role & Responsibility
KAM will be Point of Contact for all Assigned Account Category Buying team. He/She will be responsible for smooth Operational Execution with his/her accounts. He/She will also be responsible for Customer Management, Sales & Market Share Growth from his/her accounts.
Key Responsibility:
Point of Contact for all Assigned Account – Building Relationship through regular engagement
Customer Management – Improving Process, Understanding Accounts Need & their Expansion Plan.
Set-up & Execute Terms of Trade (ToT) & Joint Business Plan (JBP) with assigned account and drive monthly, quarterly, and annual business Plan.
Operational Execution – Getting Purchase Order, executing orders, collections on time.
Tracking & Analyzing – Fill-Rate Analysis & Intervention, Timely Settlement of Debit & Credit Notes.
Data Collection, Analysis & Reporting –
o Timely Data Collection (Monthly Forecast, Off-Take, Inventory & Category Share).
o Assist the NAM in analyzing Data to draw meaningful inferences.
o Tracking Expiry & Returns
Implementation of Strategic Initiatives in JBP Accounts –
o New Product Introduction (NPI)
o Right Product Assortment Planning
o Focus Brand Opportunity Assessment
o Brand Campaigns
Coordinates with Internal Team (Marketing, Supply Chain, Division team etc.) for ensuring networks are on time for promotions, stocks, events, driving offtakes, etc.
Preferred Candidate:
Understanding of Modern Trade (Pharmacy Chain Business).
Should be able to handle multiple Stakeholder.
Pharma Marketing & Sales experience will be preferred.
Candidate with High Business Acumen & Drive for Numbers
Data Crunching and drawing inference from It.
Role required to travel for 5-7 Days in a Month.
