Abbott Diabetes Care Division

We are looking for results-driven and independent Regional Sales Manager to lead the Clinical Application team for Abbott Diabetes Care in Finland. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring the work of Clinical Application Specialists, advocating our software solutions and driving revenue growth by ensuring the sales targets are met. An important aspect of your job is frequent co-travelling with your team members across Finland.

We are looking for someone with excellent IT skills, who is ambitious and motivated to lead a team of experts and to work with high quality products that help patients live better lives with our leading, life-changing technology.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Lead the Clinical Application team.

  • Represent Abbott and advocate the Abbott Diabetes Care software solutions in hospitals, specialty clinics, and physician offices.

  • Manage sales goals, protect contribution margins, and ensure compliance with all regulations and policies.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies.

  • Co-travel with team members to provide coaching and feedback.

  • Build, develop and lead a motivated and high-performing team.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, business, healthcare, life science, or medical technology.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a proven sales track record.

  • Experience in IT project management, IT consulting, and healthcare environments preferred.

  • Strong understanding of IT technology in healthcare settings.

  • Previous leadership experience is preferred.

  • Ability to understand the big picture as well as cause-and-effect relationships combined with ability identify and drive resolutions.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.

  • Experience (clinically and/or commercially) within the medical device industry is an asset

  • Fluent in Finnish and English; additional languages are advantageous.

  • Willingness to travel frequently.

  • You can be located anywhere in Finland; capital region is preferred (frequent meetings at the office in Helsinki)
