The Opportunity
This position works out of ourWiesbaden-Delkenheim location in the Abbott GmbH.
Student Worker Finance (m/w/d)
position for the department Manufacturing Operations Finance based in Wiesbaden.
Abbott ADD Manufacturing Operations Finance in Wiesbaden has a new opening for a working student. This role will support the FP&A team with providing financial planning and analysis for the business by building and managing financial reports, preparing analysis for business reviews and other ad-hoc requests.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support financial analysis and reports (Plan, Latest Best Estimate (LBE) and Long-Range Plan (LRP)) for P&L & volume metrics and comment on variances
- Calculate, analyze, and comment on monthly manufacturing variances.
- Perform ad-hoc requests, including data mining and presentation support.
- Perform month-end close activities: Prepare activities to support the FP&A team, perform basic activities analysis and create reports .
- Support Standard cost analysis, cost breakdowns and ad-hoc calculation.
- Prepare and support monthly review meetings with management.
- Work on long term projects for the site in Wiesbaden and ultimately be responsible for own project
Your Profile:
- Ongoing studies in economics, accounting, or finance with at least 1 year remaining
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Good Excel skills
- Willingness to learn and contribute
- Very organized with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in English. German is a plus
- Ability to work at least 80% on site in Delkenheim
