Overview
This role involves managing the assigned territory to ensure consistent sales growth and achievement of sales goals and targets. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities, gaining new business and market share, and maintaining existing business.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical support to nursing staff and Interventional Cardiologists in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Develop and implement Key Account Management plans to drive company revenue targets.
Stay up to date with clinical knowledge and become a subject matter expert.
Ensure company strategies are correctly and uniformly implemented.
Develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity in the assigned territory.
Maintain close relationships with key accounts, ensuring their requirements are met by the company’s products. Appraise current and planned customer needs and advise on the application of company products and services.
Quality, Safety, and Environmental
Attend regular departmental meetings with relevant managers/supervisors to build continuous feedback mechanisms.
Meet ISO requirements by complying with all relevant quality policies and procedures to ensure the business's quality objectives are met.
Comply with all relevant company Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and work practices to prevent or minimize accidental exposures to self, colleagues, and/or the environment.
Ensure any PPE provided by Abbott is worn.
Report any accidents or incidents within 24 hours through Donesafe and notify your manager.
Conduct
Ensure all activities carried out by self and others comply with legislative employment policies, health & safety requirements, and global policy.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
Degree level preferred in a science discipline or equivalent.
Clinical qualifications/experience of 2 years or more preferred in the Health Care Industry.
Desirable:
Prior experience selling vascular devices would be advantageous.
Prior medical device selling experience would be highly advantageous.
