The Inventory Analyst ensures optimal inventory levels by analyzing data and implementing strategies to balance supply and demand effectively. This position plays a crucial role in minimizing costs, reducing stockouts, and improving operational efficiency while aligning inventory management with overall business objectives. By maintaining accurate inventory records and collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Inventory Analyst supports the organization’s ability to meet customer demands and achieve financial goals.
What You’ll Do:
Data analysis:
- Analyzing inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and potential issues, including sales forecasts, lead times, and stock turnover rates.
Inventory monitoring:
- Tracking inventory levels across different locations, including warehouses and stockrooms, to maintain optimal stock levels.
Cycle counting:
- Support performing regular physical inventory checks to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Reporting:
- Generating detailed inventory reports and dashboards to highlight key metrics and inform decision-making.
Inventory optimization:
- Developing strategies to optimize inventory levels by adjusting reorder points, forecasting demand, and collaborating with procurement teams.
Problem-solving:
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
System management:
- Maintaining and updating inventory management systems, ensuring accurate data entry and system functionality.
Collaboration:
- Working with cross-functional teams like sales, production, and purchasing to coordinate inventory needs and ensure smooth operations.
Required Qualifications
- University bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Advanced English.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, + Excell and Power BI (Desirable).
- Experience required: Minimum of 1 year experience in inventory control, demand planning, data analyst and, or supply chain.
