The National Sales Manager for Regional Distributors is responsible for setting and implementing the strategy and direction for Abbott’s Regional Distributors nationally. The incumbent has to be able to build a mutually beneficial business partnership between Abbott and the Regional Distributors in each Geography.

- 3 Regional Key Account Managers
- 3 Regional Distributor Managers
Key Areas of Accountability:
1. Volume
Targets: Deliver distributor sales targets. Monitor progress and develop plans to address variance
Forecast: Participate in the trade sales demand forecast
2. Distribution
- Responsible for the achievement of distributor Reach and Frequency objectives
- Responsible for the achievement of distributor Call Effectivity objectives
- Responsible for the achievement of Retail Performance Standards for distributor accounts
3. Merchandising
- Responsible for the execution of Merchandising guidelines amongst the distributor accounts
- Responsible for the management of distributor Merchandising Funds
4. Promotions
- Responsible for the development, execution and evaluation of distributor in-store promotions
- Responsible for the management of distributor Trade Promotion Funds
5. Category Management
Drive CatMan Process with distributor customers
Knowledge & Experience:
- With experience working as Key Account Manager and/or Regional Distributor Manager for at least 5 years
- Currently doing a Distributor NSM Role is preferred
- Should have strong analytical skills, innovative and organized
- Presentation and Negotiation Skills, Project Management, Business Analysis
- Bachelor's degree, any Business and Marketing Course
