The Opportunity
For Abbott Vascular Division AV we are currently looking for an experienced professional to join our commercial team in Poland as a Sales & Marketing Manager Coronary.
Main purpose of the role:
- Successfully leads country Coronary sales team and distributor(s) to meet annual sales, profit and budgetary goals. Ensures that the assigned region meets or exceeds sales and profitability objectives. Formulates sales strategies for markets within the assigned geography and product lines in order to attain revenue goals set by the company.
- Works with sales Territory Managers and Clinical Specialists to identify and evaluate market opportunities and sales potential, and to establish and achieve their annual sales objectives. Manages and coaches the activities of field personnel. Negotiates contracts with external customers. Keeps the company informed of market dynamics and competitive activity. Responsible for the management and implementation of company policies.
What You'll do:
- Execute new product launches. Influences marketing organizations in the development of short and long term strategies to develop new market opportunities.
- Build and maintains excellent relationships with country key accounts and KOL's.
- Provide direction and guidance to exempt specialists and/or supervisory staff who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments.
- Keeps the organization's vision and values at the forefront of decision-making and action.
- Build strategic partnerships to further departmental and organizational objectives.
- Develop and execute organizational and operational policies that affect one or more groups by utilizing technical/professional knowledge and skills.
- Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures
- Make decisions regarding work processes or operational plans and schedules in order to achieve department objectives.
- Develops, monitor and appropriately adjust the annual budget for department(s).
- Perform all responsibilities in accordance with Environment, Health & Safety roles, standards and polices.
- Perform all responsibilities in accordance with Labour Code, internal rules and procedures.
- Performs other tasks on Direct Manager direction.
- Ensure compliance in performing the training as required by the training procedure
- Ensure compliance in reporting product experiences according to AV requirement
- Keep track on costs and expenses on marketing budget for Coronary sales team.
Required qualifications & background:
- University degree, preferable in science, medicine, commercial or similar.
- Prior experience in fast paced working environment in multinational organization in sales/marketing functions (minimum 9 years).
- Experience in medical devices or pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of vascular, cardiology or similar therapeutic areas is strongly preferred.
- Strong client focus and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, high working ethics.
- Experience in team management for diverse functions.
- Excellent English and Polish (both written and spoken).
- Ability to travel extensively and active driving license B.
