The Opportunity
This position works out of our Guatemala City, Guatemala location in the Molecular division. We’re empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott’s diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people. Abbott Molecular is a leader in molecular diagnostics and the analysis of DNA, RNA, and proteins at the molecular level.
The Molecular Account Executive is a strategic sales professional that’s highly skilled at driving exponential growth in their territory through closing new business and expanding existing business. Responsible for full stack selling of the Molecular products. Works across multiple stakeholders including c-suite, expediting complex decisions to quick wins. Self-starter who can develop opportunities with brand new customers, develop and deploy best practices, identify new customer insights to drive business, and consistently exceeds expectations. Will support Central America territory.
What You’ll Do
Drive market share growth by identifying new and menu expansion opportunities across the respective territory
Manage and drive the renewal process to ensure customer retention and satisfaction for non-enterprise customers
Gain understanding of client goals and objectives through strong relationship skills across multiple stakeholders
Strategic support of territory customers and follow up with service areas
Participation in promotional and clinical events positioning the brand and new molecular solutions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree Biology, chemistry, biochemistry or related.
Minimum 2 years of experience in strategic account executive positions, in the Healthcare industry.
Proficiency in both Spanish and English language. Able to communicate effectively: conversational, write and read.
Other requirements:
Willingness to travel up to >75%
Proficiency in SalesForce.com Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Strong business planning process and attention to detail.
Innovation and change management skills, with the ability to bring new ideas forward and drive them through the organization.
