The Opportunity

As Market Access Specialist Finland, you will define and execute market access strategies for Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) products. Your goal is to ensure strong brand uptake and growth by optimizing access through policy, guidance, service redesign, and advocacy. You will work closely with Wellbeing Services Counties and support implementation of opportunities developed by your peers.

This is a field-based role, requiring regular travel across Finland to engage with stakeholders and strategic accounts. A valid driver’s license is essential.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement market access strategies to support ADC portfolio growth.

• Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders and strategic accounts.

• Identify local stakeholder needs and implement initiatives that deliver mutual value.

• Manage strategic relationships and monitor their impact on access and uptake.

• Support contracting and tendering processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Engage with Finnish Reference Groups to expand Continuous Glucose Monitoring reimbursement.

• Contribute to national campaigns and local delivery objectives.

• Share insights on health economics, patient pathways, and business opportunities.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, administration, healthcare, or equivalent.

• Proven experience in market access and tender management.

• Strong track record in influencing product guidelines and reimbursement decisions.

• Deep understanding of Finnish reimbursement authorities.

• Experience in the diabetes or broader medical/pharma industry is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English.

• Self-driven, strategic thinker with strong stakeholder management skills.

• Willing and able to travel extensively across Finland.
