Country Manager - India, Transfusion Medicine

Work with Government & Private Sector Key Stakeholders to drive Market Consolidation.
Participate in Industry Forums to actively change the Transfusion Medicine landscape.
Engage Consultants who would participate in driving change in the India TM Market and be the point of contact with external & internal resources to achieve success through these.
Conceptualize & Execute on Market Investments that could help transform the India TM market to one of greater attractiveness to the Abbott solution Manage the TM team to drive the multi-pronged strategy of Market Consolidation, Market Share Growth & Driving Scientific Superiority. This would also include managing key customer relationships along with the acquisition and customer experience teams, creating a commercial excellence culture, and transferring learning and successful programmes across the Area.
This role reports to Managing Director and will interact with the Area senior staff as well as senior staff within country affiliates.
MAIN / MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES • Driving Market Consolidation
• Management of Territory directly & through acquisition & customer experience teams
• Ensure retention of existing customers through proactively monitoring customer satisfaction • Engage policy makers & stakeholders through meaningful discussion
• Monitor competitor activity to remain aware of opportunities or threats in market
• Management of Territory P&L and involved decision making for key levers to improve profitability
• Management of India TM Team & Talent Development SUPERVISORY/ MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES IF APPLICABLE
• Involvement in Area Leadership • Development of members of Team in preparation for future roles MINIMUM BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Seasoned professional with demonstrated in marketing or sales leadership experience in healthcare industry (Pharma, Devices)
• Exposure to the mentioned geography would be preferred • Strong diagnostic and analytical skills
• Ability to build relationships and work in project team, trust and influence with internal key stakeholders
• Able to facilitate and challenge to achieve desired outcomes
• Able to perceive opportunities, identify issues and resolve them
• Excellent track record in healthcare industry
• Autonomous and self-motivated.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED •
Tertiary graduate preferably in Medicine, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences
