Job Summary:
The Commercial Excellence Manager will drive strategic initiatives to enhance commercial performance across Southeast Asia. This role is responsible for optimizing sales force effectiveness, implementing data-driven decision-making tools, and supporting go-to-market strategies. The ideal candidate will be a cross-functional leader with strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and a passion for driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Force Effectiveness & Enablement
- Develop and implement tools and processes to improve sales productivity and efficiency.
- Lead territory planning, segmentation, and targeting strategies.
- Support sales training programs and performance tracking.
Commercial Strategy & Execution
- Partner with country teams to align commercial strategies with regional goals.
- Drive pricing excellence, margin optimization, and portfolio management initiatives.
- Support launch planning and execution for new products.
Data Analytics & Business Insights
- Design and deliver dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs and business performance.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive intelligence to inform strategy.
- Collaborate with finance and marketing to support forecasting and demand planning.
CRM & Digital Tools
- Champion CRM adoption and usage across the commercial organization.
- Identify and implement digital tools to support customer engagement and sales effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams to ensure commercial alignment.
- Lead or support regional projects focused on commercial transformation and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial excellence, sales operations, or strategy roles.
- Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
