PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:
To assure consistent sales growth and achievement of sales goals and targets in an assigned territory by identifying opportunities and gaining new business while maintaining existing business.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To promote Abbott's range of EPD products to healthcare professionals in an assigned territory.
- To make effective use of product trials, literature, and other promotional materials to gain recommendations and endorsements from current and potential healthcare professionals.
- Responsible for achieving individual/monthly sales targets and execute key promotional plans with healthcare professionals.
- Proactively manage and build customer relationships.
- Plan, schedule, organize and control daily tasks, functions, and duties to achieve maximum sales results.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Preferably Degree in Life Sciences or related health sciences
- Minimum 2 years pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Sales driven, results-oriented with a high degree of self-motivation
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Possess own vehicle and willing to travel outstation.
