DIVISION FUNCTION/OBJECTIVE:

Responsible for sales of diagnostics and medical devices to all hospitals units, research institutions, and reference laboratories. In carrying out all jobs related activities, the Department and its personnel must in compliance with DOH rules and regulations, environment laws, internal and U.S. FDA regulatory requirement, financial rules and practice, Code of Business Conduct, and local law and company regulations as stipulated in Abbott Taiwan Employee Manual.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for positioning Core Dx End-to End solutions & Value Proposition to Large, complex enterprise-named / Landmark/assigned accounts focused on new business and retention of current customers. To generate profitable and sustainable growth that satisfies customers’ expectations.

  • Utilizes consultative techniques and tools to elevate customer engagement and build valuable customer and Abbott insight. Develops value quantified solutions to solve identified customer challenges and leverage discovered opportunities

  • Build and lead internal cross functional selling team to execute account strategies

  • Analyze impact of market trends and factors on customers

  • Develop strategic account plans for achieving goals including sales and margin

  • Identify new business opportunities by initiating, developing or delivering unique solutions that result in improved outcomes for customer and company

  • Negotiate long term contracts

  • Oversee progress of cross-functional implementation team (post-sale)

  • Identify new business opportunities to expand current ADD share

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATION:

College or above graduated with related background in medical technology, bio- chemistry, pathological diagnostics, and nutrition.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

A minimum of 3 years selling experience in medical or diagnostics industry
