Abbott Diabetes Care has opened a new site, in Kilkenny, that is at the forefront of Diabetes care with the latest technology, to manufacture FreeStyle blood glucose test strips and FreeStyle Sensors for use in diabetes management. Among Abbott Diabetes Care leading brands are the FreeStyle Precision, FreeStyle Lite and FreeStyle Libre systems.
Main purpose
In this role as Facilities Supervisor, you will oversee the governance of our chosen Integrated Facilities Management partner (IFM). The role will provide support to the facilities planning function by interfacing with internal customers, documenting their needs, and implementing management’s planning solutions. Responsibility for monitoring site space, developing site space strategies and recommending solutions to management.
You will be responsible for:
Support the Facilities Manager and undertake general duties to ensure the smooth running of the IFM function
Owner of the oversight of the IFM contract for the site.
Owner for site KPI’s in relation to soft and hard services covered in the site quality management system .
Review of IFM supplier contracts.
Assist with the preparation of the Facilities budget, and monitor expenditure where necessary
Key stakeholder in the sitewide access control and contractor management systems
Be an active member of the Department’s sustainability Team
Ensure a consistently high level of service across the business, ensuring common processes are carried out
Follow and apply all Health and Safety Rules and Regulations in the plant.
This Job function will update procedures to GMP & facilities procedures & SOP’s where required.
Qualifications/Experience
Minimum 4 years related work experience
Minimum Level 7 Qualification in Engineering/Business or equivalent relevant discipline
Strong Stakeholder Management and ability to communicate effectively
Experience of managing and motivating teams in a service-led environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organisational and problem solving skills
Experience of working in a regulated industry environment
