Abbott is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Structural Heart Division at the EMEA Headquarters in Diegem. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving automation and analytics solutions, streamlining financial planning and analysis processes, and delivering impactful insights to support strategic decision-making across the region.

What You’ll Do

  • Organize and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles, ensuring timely and accurate submissions for planning and latest best estimates.
  • Prepare management reports and consolidations for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region, liaising closely with countries and divisional teams.
  • Support headquarters marketing with financial insights and forecasting.
  • Ensure data integrity across reporting tools such as Hyperion Financial Management, SAP, Business Objects, Dodeca, and Power BI.
  • Continuously develop and enhance financial tools to improve efficiency.
  • Translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Act as a stand-in for the Finance Manager when required.
  • Lead and participate in ad-hoc projects as requested by management.

What We’re Looking For

  • University degree in Applied Economics, Finance, Data Science, or related field (Master of Business Administration preferred).
  • 3–4 years of experience in financial planning, reporting, or analytics.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis processes and international planning/reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in tools like Power BI, SAP, Business Objects, Dodeca, Hyperion Financial Management
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
  • Fluent in English.
