The Opportunity
Abbott’s Diabetes Care division is part of Abbott Laboratories and is one of the leading manufacturers of cutting-edge glucose monitoring systems for the home and hospital diabetes markets. Our UK operations are both R&D/Manufacturing at our state-of-the-art facility in Witney, and Sales, Marketing and Commercial functions based out of Maidenhead, supported by many field-based teams.
During the internship you will be given the opportunity to showcase your skills and talent. As a team we feel it is important to focus on your individual development and you will be given the opportunity to shape and lead projects during your time with us.

What You’ll Do
You’ll support our Diabetes Care division—home to cutting‑edge glucose monitoring technology—working closely with our Sales Enablement and Marketing teams. Your responsibilities may include:
Supporting marketing and promotional activities
Collecting and analysing data from campaigns and market research
Assisting with product sampling programmes and training initiatives
Preparing promotional materials and presentations
Helping organise marketing events and distributing assets
Supporting digital media channels and daily team tasks
Ensuring all activities comply with Abbott quality and compliance standards
Throughout the internship, you'll have the opportunity to shape and lead your own projects, receive continuous feedback and mentoring, and gain exposure to senior leadership.
What We’re Looking For
Currently studying for a Bachelor’s or Integrated Master’s degree (Business or Marketing preferred)
Strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and in a fast‑paced team
Experience with MS Office, Excel or Power BI is a plus but not required
A genuine interest in marketing, sales operations, and healthcare
