The Opportunity
The Manager Field Support Services is responsible for assigned region; demonstrated appropriate level of leadership experience to lead and influence both with and without direct authority; considerable latitude exists in decision-making; position requires high levels of competence, confidence and credibility; strategic and tactical decisions will be made based upon data the individual provides and/or presents in a management or informal setting; consequences of erroneous decisions or recommendations would negatively impact the goals of the organization. This position is accountable for the following:
Implementation of strategy, scope, process, and programs which promote customer satisfaction, drive implementations and therefore sales.
Providing significant and positive impact to short-term, mid-range and long-term organizational goals.
Demonstrating continual improvement in commercial processes.
Creating a work environment that supports cross-functional team effectiveness.
Management and development of reporting staff; mentor others as appropriate.
Position Responsibilities
Communicate organizational vision and strategy, planning, and direction for Field Support Services organization to attain maximum sales volume.
Provide leadership to staff to achieve utilization and adoption of products through efficient and effective implementation cycle management.
Ensure that people management and associated administrative tasks are completed promptly and accurately lead and develop direct reports.
Lead implementation and cross-functional teams in support of organizational goals.
Lead complex and/or high-risk account management.
Understand and comply with applicable EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System.
Travel up to 75% of the time domestically by any means necessary to support business goals.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Medical Technology, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, or a related field of study; Associate degree is acceptable with additional experience and demonstrated competence.
Typically requires 7+ years of project management experience in the healthcare industry to develop the competence required to meet the skills and responsibilities of the position.
Preferred Qualifications
3 years of direct management experience required with experience in hiring, performance management, performance evaluation, goal setting, and budget accountability.
Background of success in value-based, solution selling healthcare implementations, preferably in medical devices, diagnostics, or products.
Ability to influence and lead both with and without direct authority.
Ability to convey communications clearly, concisely, and accurately.
Executive-level business and financial acumen with strong negotiation skills.
Ability to confidently speak in public, often for high-level executives.
Ability to form and develop long-term strategic, interpersonal, professional senior-level relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior.
Ability to work independently, in groups and to effectively lead groups.
Demonstrated leadership skills, initiative, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong organization, time, and project management skills.
Background of driving sales growth through superior customer service by managing key relationships with clinicians, administrators, and laboratorians.

The base pay for this position is $113,300.00 – $226,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
