The Opportunity
Our medical devices help more than 10,000 people have healthier hearts, improve quality of life for thousands of people living with chronic pain and movement disorders, and liberate more than 500,000 people with diabetes from routine fingersticks.
We are recruiting a Senior Manager, Field Health Economics & Reimbursement (HE&R), to support our Cardiac Rhythm Management division for the Great Plains region (TX, CO, NE, IA, KS, MO, OK, NM). This position will educate facilities and clinicians on device-specific coverage, coding, and payment models to establish and maintain economic awareness. You’ll work cross-functionally at the customer level to strengthen reimbursement fundamentals and patient access strategies.
What You’ll Work On
- Provide customer education on the healthcare landscape to expand product adoption and customer retention.
- Partner closely with US sales organization to deliver customer value messaging.
- Present to various stakeholders, including physicians, hospital C-Suite, service line leadership, purchasing, prior authorization, and billing/coding staff.
- Provide approved health economic education to the commercial sales organization.
- Capture and record customer interactions to track touchpoint activity across multiple engagements.
- Collaborate on corporate-initiated reimbursement strategies as needed.
- Deliver market dynamics on customer insights, trends, and challenges learned from the field in cross-departmental meetings and conference calls.
- Manage travel and entertainment within the confines of the allowable budget.
- Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
- Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Participates in regular, internal business unit meetings to influence and provide recommendations.
- Adhere to corporate compliance programs and successfully participate in training and continuing education programs.
- Ensures deliverables are accomplished on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 9 years’ work experience or 6 years with an advanced degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in health studies, business or economics or an advanced degree
- 5 – 8 years of medical device or pharmaceutical field reimbursement, health policy, or health economic experience.
- Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions, understand how to do the research to uncover missing information, and enjoy the challenge of being a solution architect.
- Extensive presentation experience in front of a diverse audience, including C-suite executives, healthcare providers, and the commercial organization.
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of the organization.
- Advanced personal computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills with high attention to detail.
- Living in the geography is highly preferred but not required (TX, CO, NE, IA, KS, MO, OK, NM).

The base pay for this position is $113,300.00 – $226,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
