The Opportunity
The Sr. Facilities Manager is responsible for managing the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities. Plans, budgets and schedules facility modifications including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs. Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, and facilities expansion. Serves as liaison between the company and local municipalities and agencies related to facilities activities. May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards.
The Sr. Facilities Manager will work out of our Temecula, CA location in the Abbott Vascular division.
Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive and cost-effective products for treatment of vascular disease. Our extensive portfolio includes drug-eluting stents, bare metal stents, guide wires, balloon dilatation catheters, imaging catheters and software, vessel closure devices and peripheral stents.

- Makes decisions regarding work processes or operational plans and schedules in order to achieve department objectives.
- Develops, monitors and appropriately adjusts the annual budget for department(s).
- Provides direction and monitors progress of exempt specialists and/or supervisory staff toward departmental goals; monitors costs of projects and of human and material resources within a department or unit; monitors company-wide indicators such as market share and profitability; monitors external environment in area of technical or professional responsibility.
- Will perform this job in a quality system environment.
- Develops and/or identifies new work processes and the improved utilization of human and material resources within the assigned or related functions or groups; facilitates others' participation in the continuous improvement program; investigates and solves problems that impact work processes and personnel within or across units or departments; develops and communicates a vision for the organizational unit assigned.
- Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.
Minimum Experience / Training Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Minimum 9 years of related work experience
Preferred Experience:
- Medical device experience or knowledge of highly regulated environments such as automotive, electronics, aerospace, etc., highly preferred.

The base pay for this position is $129,300.00 – $258,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
