Title: Logistic Manager, ADC
Department: Finance & Logistics
Report to: Demand Plan and SC Manager, ADC Japan/ Controller, ADC Japan
Work location: Matsudo, Chiba
Roles & Responsibilities
Logistics Manager, ADC, will play a role as ADC representative at Matsudo Warehouse managed by CRDx SCM to optimize and accelerate our ADC logistics processes to drive business growth thru below activities:
- Control processes of ADC inventory receiving, storing, picking, kitting and shipping. Own & lead continuous improvement in this area.
- Issue PO and monitor day to day inventory status including delivery status & custom clearance. Avoid any back-orders caused by any delivery delay.
- Manage logistics process of quality control/ quality hold. Design and execute SOP for any new quality incidents.
- Own any logistics planning related to new product implementations and any end of life.
- Build appropriate review and approval process of warranty shipment/ return receipts and sample shipment and execute it.
- Responsible for SAP/S4 logistics processes
- Manage kitting processes including local sourcing planning
- Supervise FedEx on its warranty & bundling operations (BGM bundling to continue)
- Collaborate with CRDx Demand Planners to manage inventory in and out at 2nd warehouse operated by Mitsui Warehouse in Saitama to pull products from Narita and ship to Matsudo at right timing and right volume
- Build long range ADC Japan Supply Chain Management vision and strategies together with ADC Japan Demand Plan and SC Manager and other region’s SCM counterparts
- In charge of any tasks relevant to ADC logistics not limited to aforementioned scopes.
Required Competencies, Skills and Experiences:
Must:
- 3-5 years of work experience as Supply Chain/ Logistics Manager or Supervisor.
- Bachelor degree in business, engineering or any supply chain management/ logistics business relevant fields
- Work experience in matrix organization. Strong at communication with shared service functions/ relevant other divisions to represent its division’s needs. Capability to assess and judge operational/ strategic options to balance and optimize business needs and operational efficiency.
- Process improvement including identification of improvement areas by defining KSF/ KPI to drive and track improvements.
- Agility and adaptability. Flexibility, problem-solving, and willingness to learn. Embrace changes and diverse responsibilities. Good at prioritization.
- Team player. Good communicator.
- Commitment to compliance and ethical conduct.
- Language:
- Japanese: clear written and verbal communication skills at business level.
- English: Reading and writing capability at business level is a must.
- System:
- Skills in MS Office, not only Excel for analysis but also MS PowerPoint for presentation preparations.
- ERP (SAP or similar) and databases.
Want:
- Work experience in logistics/ warehouse operations within the healthcare industry and/or FMCG.
- Experience in warehouse relocation, expansion, and improvement projects.
- Understanding on overall S&OP Planning process.
- Verbal English communication skills at business level is a plus.
