What You’ll Do

Accounting Operations

• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities in line with corporate timelines.
• Perform day‑to‑day accounting tasks including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Monitor AP/AR transactions and support treasury or cash‑flow processes when required.

• Support fixed assets accounting, depreciation, and inventory controls.
• Cost Accounting – Oversees end to end cost accounting processes by maintaining accurate cost structures, analyzes variances, and collaborates with operations to ensure cost accuracy and efficiency.

Financial Reporting

• Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of management reports and group reporting deliverables.
• Support group reporting requirements (IFRS/US GAAP/local GAAP as applicable).
• Assist in variance analysis and provide insights to management.
• Develop recurring reporting dashboards and KPIs.

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure accounting processes comply with corporate internal control frameworks.
• Provide audit support by preparing required documentation and responding to internal and external auditors.
• Ensure adherence to tax regulations and support tax filings (VAT, withholding, corporate tax).
• Maintain up‑to‑date accounting policies, workflows, and procedural documentation.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and process improvement.
• Support system enhancements (ERP, reporting tools, etc.).
• Standardize reporting procedures across business units.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Procurement, HR, and other teams to ensure financial accuracy.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analyses and support special projects.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in accounting or financial reporting.
• Experience with IFRS or local GAAP.
• Experience in multinational environments or audit firms (Big Four preferred) is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP system is a strong plus
• Advanced Excel skills: familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with financial reporting tools and analytical systems.
• Embraces a growth and digital mindset, leveraging technology and data analytics tools
• Brings strong organizational skills, curiosity, and analytical thinking and fluency in written and spoken English
