Job Description
As part of Marketing Team, the Practice Excellence Manager plays a pivotal role in the creation, deployment, and management of practice development initiatives in Canada.
What is Practice Development Excellence at Allergan Aesthetics?
Elevating the way we support medical aesthetic practices in every stage of their Aesthetic and commercial journey. This involves optimizing both internal approach (considering salesforce capabilities, aligning stakeholders) and direct external support to our customers (supporting development of impactful materials and services, coordinating and adapting/localizing materials with our IMCO (International) team, and implementing an omnichannel approach).
With the objective of differentiating the Allergan Aesthetics’ customer experience and customer support in line with our priorities, the Practice Excellence Manager will work closely with the Canadian cross-functional teams, and industry experts and opinion leaders to create and localize engaging, effective, and innovative content. This role requires a combination of strategic and project management skills to ensure that all practice development content is delivered to the right target customer, through the right channel at the right time. And integrated with broader brand and AA strategies.
Responsibilities:
Co-create and execute an impactful content strategy that aligns with customer needs and organizational overall goals and objectives.
- Ensure that the content strategy remains relevant and competitive in Canada, localizing content or developing net new, as needed for Canadian Aesthetics practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to map content for different customer groups and customer journeys.
- Use data-driven insights to continually refine and improve the content strategy.
Lead the end-to-end process for practice development solutions strategy from needs analysis, design, approval, to delivery and execution in partnership with in field teams.
- Identify and collaborate with industry experts, opinion leaders, and agencies within to co-create and validate programs and PDS strategies.
- Determine the right channel for delivery of the content (face-to-face, digital, virtual, blended) for an integrated customer experience in Canada.
- Communication of PDS plans to internal stakeholders, support with training and guidelines for execution.
- Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of existing programs to ensure relevance, accuracy, and effectiveness.
- Deliver content on time and on budget
- KPI tracking of programs and strategies implemented leading to action.
Champion and support implementation of programs across functions within Canada.
- Work closely with cross-functional country teams, including marketing, sales enablement, training and capabilities, medical education, legal, compliance, and business technology to ensure strategy and programs are aligned with overall organizational framework.
- Work closely with business consultants on supporting KAM programs and clinic service delivery.
- Participate in implementation of regional programs and virtual educational programs in collaboration with AMI, Sales and Marketing teams.
- Communicate content program progress and outcomes to country stakeholders regularly. Be an active member of brand team and IMCO meetings.
Manage the practice development solutions website.
- Build strategy and adapt or create content for the Catalyst website, ensuring it remains a relevant and valuable resource for medical aesthetic practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate new content and features that enhance the user experience on the website.
- Monitor website analytics to gauge user engagement and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide support and training to internal stakeholders on how to effectively use and promote the Catalyst website. And build comms plans that support the recruitment & usage of the platform.
Qualifications
Education/Experience required:
- Comprehensive understanding of the business of medical aesthetics and practice management to lead, design, and develop customer-centric and behavior-changing content (Desirable). Relatable, transferable/equivalent industry experience or knowledge will be considered.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver an end-to-end project.
- Experience partnering with and influencing subject matter experts, opinion leaders, and business stakeholders.
- Established experience in Sales or Marketing or other customer-facing roles.
- Demonstrable understanding and experience in running or supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in business development and management. (Desirable).
- Track record of budget and project management capabilities.

- Equivalent to a four-year University education with emphasis in science and/or business.
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in the CPG or pharmaceutical industry; previous cross-functional commercial experience (e.g. Sales, Category Management, Business Excellence, Shopper/Trade Marketing, etc.) is an asset.
- Experience working in Health Canada regulated industries, within Beauty, Cosmetic, or Medical Aesthetics, is preferred.
- Bilingualism (French/English) would be an asset
- Travel: 20%
