Job Description

As a BTS Compliance Manager (all genders) in AbbVie Business Technology Solutions (BTS), you’ll have opportunities to contribute to the digital transformation of a leading biopharma company, helping to co-create compliant technological solutions that impact patients and their communities for the better.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

• Ensuring adherence with all relevant BTS policies, regulations, corporate standards, system development procedures and practices
• Interpretating and communicating systems compliance requirements, regulations, procedures across the BTS Commercial functions
• Leading Commercial BTSs data analytics and compliance strategy globally
• Leading compliance activities across multiple projects and client areas
• Partnering with various business stakeholders, technology leads, external agencies, and partners
• Operating as the subject matter expert and point person for Commercial BTS in Europe on compliance topics, procedures, and initiatives
• Enforcing and advocating secure, safe, compliant development protocols and supporting the deployment of secure systems and solutions
• Driving continuous process optimization initiatives based on operational performance monitoring, audits, and leading industry best practices
• Cultivating a team environment that values strategic thinking, proactive risk management, and continuous learning
• Driving continuous training and awareness sessions to promote understanding and adherence to policies, procedures, and industry standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Computer Science or similar course desired. Master’s degree is preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in compliance, supplier management, quality assurance, risk management or related business function
• Minimum 3+ years of supervisory and managerial experience in a Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical or medical device organization
• Work experience in the pharmaceutical industry is beneficial
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing senior internal business and functional leaders
• Proven expertise in compliance strategy development, risk management, and project management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Power BI, Power Apps or Smartsheet experience is an advantage
