Job Description
National Sales Manager, BOTOX Therapeutics - Remote
This position reports directly to the Sales Director, BOTOX Therapeutic. This individual will have leadership responsibilities centered in six key areas supporting a 400 person sales and sales management team throughout the United States.
- PARTNERSHIPS AND COLLABORATION : Connects and collaborates with all cross-functional partners on key communication and operating initiatives, including Marketing, Sales Training, Operations, Finance and Field Sales Leadership.
- COMMUNCIATIONS : Serves as the communication lead for Field Sales, using various means to deliver key information to sales teams
- AUSTIN CUSTOMER CENTER OF EXCELLENCE - Develops a deep partnership with the Austin, TX customer center and their dedicated BOTOX Therapeutic team
- MIGRAINE PORTFOLIO - Serves as the sales lead for all portfolio (above brand or internal co-promote) efforts done in the migraine space
- KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS - In partnership with FFE and external partners (if needed) create sales and activity dashboards that align with goals and objectives
- SALES CONTESTS – In partnership with FFE, develop contest opportunities for each of the selling teams that align to key drivers and are not redundant with standard incentive compensation measurements.
The six focus areas above are likely to represent 70-80% of work-related activity. Additional responsibilities will be assigned. The role is critical in helping to shape and maintain the business unit culture. The National Sales Manager is expected to provide solutions to grow the BOTOX business based on their analysis and observations. By sharing key observations with the Sales Director and disseminating data, these actions help to drive results.
This is a developmental role for field-based leaders (Senior DM or Director of National Accounts) that are interested in senior field leadership roles.
Significant Work Activities -Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
Qualifications
Requirements
- Minimum of five years management experience in the pharmaceutical industry; previous experience as a Sr. District Manager is also required
- Prior experience in marketing and/or sales training is preferred
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills along with dynamic leadership attributes needed to interface with different departments throughout the organization
- Advanced organization and administrative skills are required to execute programs and implement them in a manner which is compliant and consistent with business unit objectives and company direction
- Ability to influence; and, build rapport and relationships by interacting effectively with employees and external customers all levels, demonstrating the necessary awareness of their needs and responding with the appropriate action
- Applies a range of traditional and non-traditional compliant problem-solving techniques to think through and solve issues creatively to improve company performance and effectiveness
- Demonstrated strong clinical product, customer and disease state knowledge
- Has a comprehensive “macro” understanding of buy and bill/part B/procedural products and markets, with the ability to transform strategies and initiatives into action.
- Able to manage multiple high-profile priorities simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
