Job Description

The Senior Finance Manager, Treasury Debt Capital Markets is a key position in the Treasury organization. This position reports to the Director, Corporate Finance and plays a critical role in both tactical and strategic leadership in the activities related to Debt issuance and administration, strategic hedging as well as other strategic projects within Treasury. This position has a very high level of exposure with routine presentations to the Vice President, Corporate Treasurer.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Weekly reporting of hedge positions which includes analysis of current interest rate and foreign exchange markets
  • Produce Variance at Risk report on quarterly basis which informs Treasury on risk due to financial markets
  • Support with corporate debt issuances including Bonds, Term Loans and Revolving Lines of Credit
  • Support Director, Corporate Finance with execution of cash flow hedges, net investment hedges, interest rate swaps as well as AbbVie share repurchases
  • Create market impact reports after major market movements which will be sent to Treasurer and CFO to keep them aware of market movements
  • Annual reporting of Investment Bank Profitability report
  • Analyze Corporate exchange variances vs Plan and other benchmarks
  • Oversee FDP completion of quarterly 10-Q / 10-K packages which highlights cash, debt and hedging impacts in financial statements
  • Oversee various month-end and quarter-end reporting requirements and certifications as relating to respective cash and debt activities performed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. CPA is preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in progressive finance or accounting roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communicate skills with ability to present to Corporate Officers.
  • Familiarity with SAP, HFM, and BPC is preferred.
  • Strong excel and modeling skills.
