Job Description

Moving mountains together – as Digital Site Transformation Manager (all genders), you are leading the site digitalization team for Ludwigshafen Operations in a sustainable way. You are responsible for a holistic analysis of manufacturing processes and for identifying new business-relevant digitalization trends and technologies.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive digitalization strategy and drive decisions on new digitalization projects with the site leadership team
• Lead the site digitalization team and digitalization initiatives effectively, including escalation and resolution of project issues
• Responsibility for all projects to increase the level of digitalization and data usage in manufacturing and quality
• Responsibility for holistic analysis of manufacturing processes and identifying new opportunities for improvements to promote data usage and digital change
• Transfer knowledge and provide guidance on best practices and procedures related to digital transformation
• Conceive end-to-end solutions along the supply chain and support their implementation in IT projects in existing environments (SAP, …)
• Represent the site in global digitalization expert groups

Qualifications

How you move mountains:

• Master’s degree in a technical or scientific discipline or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, alternatively in manufacturing of a global matrix organization industry
• Proven experience in managing digitalization projects and driving digital transformation
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes in the industry
• Experience in working effectively across different cultures and in a complex matrix environment
• Strong leadership skills and solution orientation
• Good understanding of business needs and the impact of regulatory issues
• Demonstrated success in negotiation
