Join our dynamic team as a Regional Sales Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and revenue growth. You’ll take charge of the regional budget and strategy, transforming bold business unit strategies into actionable operational plans. Collaborate with our National Sales team to organize impactful regional conferences and meetings, steering your region towards achieving set objectives. Dive deep into territory analysis, conducting systematic revenue and cost evaluations to ensure optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Leadership in setting and reviewing realistic but ambitious targets for your team, ensuring goal attainment.
- Advocating for talent by managing, developing, and coaching high-performing teams, with a focus on onboarding new talents and nurturing their potential.
- Through regular collaboration and coaching, you will boldly manage performance while fostering teamwork at the regional field sales level.
Your expertise in customer engagement, market management, and networking will be vital. Harness the power of all communication channels and lead the successful implementation of our Omni-Channel Management strategy. Stay ahead with continuous market monitoring, proactively initiating measures to reach our objectives.
You will collect, filter, and share valuable market and customer insights, driving our success.

Qualifications

Must-have qualifications:
- A university degree, preferably in natural sciences or business administration
- Minimum of 2 years’ successful experience in field sales or direct customer interactions, ideally across various Therapeutic Areas
- Qualification as a pharmaceutical representative
- Initial expertise in sales management and GxP, along with knowledge of targeting principles, customer planning, and performance analysis
- Strong financial acumen, with substantial experience or understanding of revenue and budget accountability
- Natural leadership mindset with the ability to accelerate talents
- Fluency in both German and English
- Willingness to travel frequently
Nice-to-have skills:
- Planning and project management capabilities
- Initial leadership experience in field sales
- Scientific understanding of treatments, German healthcare policy, and ideally, the relevant therapeutic area
- Experience in promoting interregional exchange of best practices
- Proficiency in field sales management systems (e.g., Veeva) and MS Office applications
