Job Description

Reports to: District Sales Manager
Location: North Taiwan

Primary Function/Objective:

  • Work in the assigned sales territory to meet or exceed sales targets, both in units and value, monthly or cumulatively by year-end.
  • Keep management fully informed on market conditions, competitive situations, regulatory changes, and all activities in a timely manner.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Achieve brand goals and sales targets (60% focus).

  • Responsible for territory management including hospital listing, scientific communication, product listing (20% focus).

  • Consolidate and analyze market information to gain insights and develop brand plans aligned with corporate strategy to drive growth in sales and market share (remaining 20%).

  • Plan and establish the most effective territory call cycle.

  • Organize and maintain territory records and submit timely reports to the sales manager.

  • Report key competitive activities and customer behavior to improve territory management.

  • Manage expenses to maximize profitability of the assigned territory.

  • Plan call objectives before and analyze after each sales call to improve efficiency.

  • Use professional sales and negotiation skills in specialized sales calls to achieve desired goals.

  • Build and maintain good relationships with customers, colleagues, and distributors.

  • Develop and maintain product, industrial, and competitive knowledge.

  • Cooperate with other team members to improve working efficiency and implement promotional campaigns.

  • Support overall objectives of the business unit alongside individual objectives.

  • Perform special projects as needed.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • University degree in relevant background.
  • At least 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience with both HCP and GP experience is great plus.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare and/or pharmaceutical industry.
  • With speciality care background is preferred

Essential Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • Strong presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and expenses, executing marketing plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work with diverse customers.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
