Job Description

As a Field Medical Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical and scientific information to customers and managing collaborative relationships with national and regional opinion leaders to align professional opinions, especially in emerging science areas and upcoming product developments.

You will oversee and locally manage relationships with investigators conducting studies under Allergan Aesthetics Medical Affairs. You will also participate in the Leadership and Brand Teams, offering clinical insights, technical expertise, and scientific training to staff. As a medical and scientific professional, you will serve as a resource to internal Allergan Aesthetics stakeholders and the external medical community, ensuring the distribution of accurate, credible, and balanced scientific data about Allergan products to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

• Being Medical Doctor or relevant scientist (Biologist, Chemist, Pharmacist). PhD pr higher diploma would be an asset,
• At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and at least one year in the Medical Affairs Department,
• Demonstrated expertise in the scientific methods applied to clinical research and current legislative/regulatory controls applicable to this research.
• Having a good understanding of the clinical and scientific aspects of Medical Aesthetics,
• Excellent command of English,
• Good command of MS Office Programs,
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral - ability to present scientific data in balanced and compelling fashion and to turn complex scientific knowledge into easily understood language for different audiences
• Willingness to travel on a regular basis,
• Ability to leverage relationships with internal and external stakeholders,
• Ability to develop appropriate solutions to complex problems,
• Dependable team player, analytical thinker, self-starter.

Additional Information

• Provides in-depth clinical and scientific information relating to Allergan Aesthetics products to external customers and to internal staff.
• Maintains an in-depth understanding of Allergan Aesthetics products and relevant therapeutics including but not limited to the therapeutic area as well as to emerging indications and products.
• Establishes and maintains professional and credible relationships with key thought leaders / external experts and academic centers.
• Provides field-based insights and medical/scientific input to Company strategy. Monitor the environment for competitive intelligence (e.g. product strategies, studies, commercial messages, positioning, etc.) and communicate, where appropriate, within the Company
• Delivers scientific presentations and medical education programs to healthcare professionals individually or in groups (meetings, clinical sessions, etc.), where appropriate.
• Develops collaborative relationships with national and local opinion leaders to ensure alignment of clinical and scientific opinion, and market awareness aligned with Allergan Aesthetics strategy.
• Organizes Advisory Boards with Experts to get the insights, aligned with Company strategy.
• Responsible for screening investigator-initiated study proposals and managing the requests in line with company SOPs.
• Provides support to national investigators participating in company sponsored studies as appropriate.
• Provides Medical review and approval of the Promotional Materials in line with company SOPs.
