Job Description
The Senior Manager Change Enablement reports to the Associate Director of Review Transformation within the Marketing Operations organization. This dynamic role drives adoption of transformative solutions for AbbVie’s Material Review Process (MRP), including AI-enhanced processes. As a visible change leader, this individual excels at inspiring teams, influencing stakeholders without authority, and fostering adaptability. This leader manages complex, cross-functional initiatives, building alignment among internal teams and external partners. The Change Enablement Manager thrives at the intersection of process/system change and human behavior – helping people integrate and embrace change to improve business outcomes.
Key Accountabilities:
- Leads successful rollout and ongoing adoption of solution-adapted MRP for diverse stakeholders (Medical, Regulatory, Editorial, Marketing, Agency, etc.)
- Influences and mobilizes cross-functional teams in a complex matrixed environment
- Facilitates partnership with Training and Support teams to ensure they have comprehensive guidance on evolving product functionality and user feedback
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads large scale change initiatives with limited oversight
- Analyzes and drives resolution for complex business issues, showing sound judgement and resilience
- Serves as a visible champion for change, generating enthusiasm and stakeholder buy-in
- Facilitates effective onboarding and hypercare support, ensuring the user’s voice is heard and issues are swiftly addressed
- Applies leading change management methodologies to assess and improve stakeholder adoption, adapting communication style to maximize engagement
- Leads structured change management activities for new capabilities, including adoption analytics and feedback loops
- Facilitates structured stakeholder engagement sessions to capture evolving needs and translate them into actionable requirements
- Deftly navigates variations in organizational, team and individual ways of working, alerting leadership to critical barriers and advocating for process improvement
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree, suggested focus in Business / Communications / Advertising (MBA desirable)
- 8+ years in project/program management, ideally in a regulated environment and review process context
- Significant experience implementing weighty changes that drive business evolution
- Proven ability to lead without formal authority, influence at all levels, and deliver results independently
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into clear, compelling messages
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
