Job Description
The Site Digital Transformation Lead role combines responsibilities essential for leading and executing digital transformation initiatives across the site, aligning with site-specific strategic goals. The role focuses on maintaining and enhancing digital systems and ensuring they support overall site operations and objectives efficiently.
As the Digital Transformation Lead, you will be involved in designing, implementing, and optimizing digital systems that align with our strategic goals. You will work collaboratively across departments to promote technological advancements that drive efficiency, innovation, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, Develop and implement digital strategies to meet site-specific objectives, enhancing efficiency and technology integration.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the design, implementation, and optimization of site digital projects, ensuring alignment with business and operational needs.
- Manage BTS group activities, including the oversight of systems such as LIMS, SAP, and other laboratory-based platforms.
- Evaluate current systems related to site operations and identify areas for improvement, cost reduction, and technological innovation.
- Collaborate with all departments to integrate new technologies effectively.
- Align digital initiatives with broader company strategies and ensure a collaborative approach to technology adoption and innovation.
- Conduct analyses to ensure digital asset management aligns with data integrity and security requirements.
- Monitor digital industry trends to ensure the site's strategies remain innovative and competitive.
- Provide comprehensive training and support to staff on new tools and processes, fostering an environment of innovation.
- Prepare, manage, and monitor budgets for digital transformation projects to ensure cost-effective execution.
- Measure and report on the success of digital initiatives, assessing their impact on site operations and business outcomes.
- Lead significant initiatives, ensuring cohesive collaboration with departments such as validation, engineering, and production, to drive performance improvements.
- Partner with global teams such as Factory of Future, Lab of Future and Network Digital Strategy to ensure the site is aligned with global initiatives and implementing Network Digital Strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Operational Excellence, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading digital transformation projects, preferably in a pharmaceutical setting.
- Comprehensive understanding of digital technologies and platforms, with a focus on systems such as LIMS, SAP, and laboratory automation technologies.
- Proven experience in managing and optimizing IT systems for complex operations.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills, with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration across diverse functional teams.
- Proficiency in digital strategy software and tools, with a preference for project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile).
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent analytical abilities, equipped to solve complex problems and adapt to new requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
- Experience in emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and blockchain is beneficial.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity and work ethic.
