Job Description
This position reports to the Finance Director Data Management and provides leadership and decision support on Governance and Data Quality of CDL-F. This role liaises with multiple cross-functional stakeholders across Operations, R&D, and Commercial and has opportunities to interact with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop tools and capabilities to support centralization of FP&A and forecasting data into CDLF (Commercial Data Lake for Finance):
- Define the system and technology vision, and manage key governance processes.
- Lead large cross-functional teams, including COE, BTS, Forecasting, Commercial partners, and vendors, in developing forecasting capabilities that may include a Commercial Data Lake, visualization and reporting tools, and a commercial FP&A/forecasting platform.
- Lead the development of assessments including smaller proof-of-concept and purpose-built tools for specific business unit teams, forecasters, and FP&A teams.
- Manage inbound and outbound data connections for CDLF, including requirements gathering, connection design and build, testing cycles, deployment, and hypercare support.
- Identify and implement supplemental analytical tools that improve the quality and effectiveness of FP&A and forecasting solutions.
- Support automation and streamlining of rules-based FP&A and forecasting processes by leveraging cross-functional support, evaluating tools, and assisting with implementation as needed.
- Lead cross-functional meetings focused on continuous process improvement initiatives; align on expectations and conduct regular health checks against targeted benchmarks to ensure timely execution.
- Create and maintain KPI tracking tools to monitor continuous improvement efforts and measure progress.
- Support the development of standard onboarding and offboarding materials, best-practice documentation, and training resources to enhance the FP&A and forecasting experience.
- Prepare ad hoc analysis and reporting, as needed.
- Support data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency; document data structures, processes, and user guidance.
- Identify opportunities to improve data flow, accessibility, and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Math/Physics
- Requires 7-10 years progressive accounting or finance experience
- Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner across multiple functions as well as various levels of the organization
- Highly motivated self-starter who can translate broad directions into high quality analytical output.
- Open to new ideas and utilizes value-added principles in approach.
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple activities, due dates, and shifting priorities, under tight timeframes
- Ability to solve business problems through the proactive identification of issues and subsequent collection, analysis, and interpretation of related data
- Experience working independently as well as team environments and integrating activities across multiple functions / divisions
- Adapt at analyzing and summarizing data from multiple sources.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
