Location: Knoxville, TN

The Lodging Accounting Service Team Lead will build and maintain client relationships both internally and externally. Proactively engage key stakeholders and provide oversight with an innovative mindset to current and or future projects. Communicate effectively while responding to escalations. Assist as required with audit oversight and requests as required during the busy season. As required, assist with various finance and accounting governance for client general accounting. This position reports to the SDO Associate Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Timely response to audit requests, following Client standards for audits, compliance with control narratives.

  • Managing the assignment of the requests and tracking these requests in order to provide data analytics.

  • Oversight of the reconciliation and management of open insurance claims and CA Tourism process related to the Client.

  • Managing escalations for the client

  • Involved with month-end close activities for Client properties and assists as required within the Operations Accounting team.

  • Reports to the SDO Associate Manager and provides weekly status updates of all audit requests that are open, in progress or closed.

  • Help support defining and documenting the accounting process for new initiatives for the account which will modify or replace existing processes as new technologies are introduced.
