We are seeking a skilled Endpoint Security Engineer to manage and administer our Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cybersecurity and a proven track record of implementing and managing endpoint security solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day operations and administration of EPP and EDR software and policies, including asset discovery, threat analysis, vulnerability scanning, patch management, IOC application, and remediation enforcement.
  • Deploy and manage EDR functions across endpoints.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, follow directions from multiple stakeholders, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analyze complex situations, make informed decisions based on limited information, and propose solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 3-5 years of experience in security operations or IT operations.
  • Hands-on experience with EDR solutions such as Tanium, CrowdStrike, Symantec, or Trend Micro.
  • Proficiency in vulnerability scanning, patch management, and compliance management tools.
  • Experience with endpoint protection technologies like application control, drive encryption, and firewalls.
  • Strong understanding of computer management and endpoint security concepts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and logical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Service-oriented mindset.
  • Initiative and ability to drive projects forward.
  • Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+, CCISP, CCSP.
